NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Yuba Water District (“District”) has one (1) vacancy on its Board of Directors (“Board”), Division 3.

In accordance with California Government Code section 1780, the Board intends to fill the vacancy by appointment.

The person appointed to fill this vacant Board position will serve until the next California general election, with the election in November 2024. Applicant must be a registered voter, residing within the District, Division 3.

ALL INTERESTED RESIDENTS OF DIVISION 3 are invited to apply for this position. If you are interested,  please submit a letter of interest to the District at one of the addresses shown below. The letter of interest should describe the qualifications which would make you suitable for a position on the Board and include your name, address, phone number, and email address (if available). Your letter of interest will be posted on the District’s website at https://www.nywd.org/.

Letters of interest must be received at the District office no later than 4:00pm on April 28, 2023.

Appointment to elective office will be made during a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors scheduled for May 4, 2023, at 5:30 pm at the District office. A zoom link will be provided for anyone who wishes to attend remotely.  The appointed director may be sworn in and seated at that meeting, or at a time after the meeting at the Discretion of the Board.
